Meet the Morris Family

LUMOS Hearth & Home is owned and operated by Hugh and Wendy Morris. They moved from Boise Idaho in early 2019 to beautiful Camas, Washington with their 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 8 chickens. After relocating to SW Washington, they quickly fell in love with the community and realized they could combine their expertise in hearth and home fashion and created LUMOS Hearth & Home.

Hugh Morris has been in the hearth industry for 6 years. He started at a small mom and pop hearth shop in Boise, Idaho and it wasn’t long before his professionalism and expertise was notices and he became general manager at Leisure Time, one of the largest hearth stores in Idaho. After a few years of running a large company, Hugh accepted a leadership position at Morton’s Stoves Pools and Spas in Vancouver in January 2019.

Wendy Mitchell-Morris has been in the window covering industry for 3 years. With a background in fashion design and illustration, Wendy worked for Budget Blinds of Boise, Idaho for 3 years and was able to combine her fashion and design experience with her passion for interior design and quickly learned all she could about custom window coverings.
