Founded in 2019 by husband and wife partners, Hugh & Wendy Morris, we combined our knowledge of hearth and home design products and services to create LUMOS Hearth & Home. Serving the southwest Washington region and beyond, we offer fireplaces, stoves, hot tubs, custom window treatments and installations. We opened our showroom in Battle Ground February 2020 to better serve our clients and showcase the brands we love.
We are a licensed & bonded small business providing full service, from a complimentary on site consultation to installation. At LUMOS Hearth & Home, we strive to provide excellent service from the point of interest through completion of the project, and we will continue to provide support for the many years of enjoyment you can expect from the quality products we carry and install.

Hugh Morris
Hugh has been involved in the hearth industry since 2015. Starting at a small mom & pop shop in Boise, Idaho, he quickly made a name for himself in sales and expertise. He became the general manager for Leisure Time, one of the largest hearth & hot tub stores in Idaho before accepting an opportunity to work for Morton’s Stoves, Pools & Spas here in Vancouver & Battle Ground, Washington. When he found out that Morton’s was planning on closing the Battle Ground location, his 5 year plan to own his own store became a 6 month plan! In his spare time he loves golfing, playing music, and working on their property in Amboy. It has always been his dream to own his own store, and is looking forward to many years of serving the Battle Ground and North County community and beyond.
Wendy Mitchell Morris
Wendy has a background in the fashion industry and graphic design. She has always had a passion for interior design. She was able to combine her passion and experience while working for a window covering company in Boise, Idaho and quickly learned all there was about custom window coverings and how to manage a showroom. In her spare time Wendy enjoys reading, gardening, remodeling their new home in Amboy, fostering for the local Humane Society, and taking care of her and Hugh’s 2 dogs, 5 cats, 2 ducks, and 8 chickens. Wendy is looking forward to creating beautiful designs and lasting relationships with clients and the community.
